| I only need 10 mins copying on a 3hr tape. How much will that cost ? | VHS videos are charged at £10 per tape, regardless of how long they are. |
| Do you edit ? | No, sorry, i don't offer any editing facilities. Films are copied exactly as they are. |
| Can you put all our cine film onto one DVD ? | Yes, i can either put everything onto one DVD or you can have each film on a seperate disk, you decide. |
| How much do you charge for extra copies ? | Copies are £5 each, but must be ordered at the time of copying. They can't be ordered at a later date. |
| Do you collect and deliver ? | Yes, i collect and deliver anywhere on the Wirral for only £12. |
| Do you offer discount for large orders ? | Yes, depending on the size of the job i can offer up to 30% discount. |
| Where are you? | I work from home, at 62 Beechway, Bebington, Wirral. CH63 3AZ |
| Can we drop off the films to you ? | Yes. I accept personal callers weekdays only, at sensible times ( not on the way home from the pub !! ....yes it really has happened !! ). Please don't call at weekends. |
| Can you quote us a price ? | On large orders, i am happy to quote a price. Please call to discuss. Price will always include collection and delivery. |
| Do you take care of our films ? | Absolutely. I realise that your films are unique and valuable to you. I do take the best care of your films, however, i always point out that you leave them with me at your own risk. All my copying equipment is state-of-the-art, however, sometimes tapes do get tangled and films stuck, especially if they've not been looked after very well. I therefore cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage. |
| Are you experienced ? | Yes i am. Ian Simpson Imaging has been established for almost 20 years. I am an archiving specialist as well as a profesional photographer and film maker. |
| We have just found a huge collection of films, photographs and negatives in a family members attic. They are very old and we want to preserve them. Can you help ? | Absolutely. I often take on large restoration jobs for families, converting negatives, slides and photographs to digital as well as copying old movie films. I offer a full archiving service and am happy to discuss prices with you. |
| How long does it take ? | I do my best to turn everything around within 2 working days. |
| Can we play our movie films on youtube and facebook ? | Yes. As well as converting you films to DVD i can supply smaller digital copies, ready for you to upload to the web, email, social networking sites or play on your iphone or ipod. |
